“He who influences the thought of his time influences the time that follows.” Pursuing this spirit of Excellence and Change, Britannia Flournoy Brengettsy is the Senior Pastor of the Divine House of Praise Church, in Atlanta, Georgia. In this age of transition, Pastor Tan, as she is affectionally called, strives to answer the question of “who can find a virtuous leader, radically revolutionizing, influencing and empowering the Body of Christ to prevail above the status quo. As a transformational leader, Pastor Tan Is a gifted trailblazer utilizing charismatic strengths to impart vision to others by shifting their paradigms, and performances, thereby causing an energetic momentum that fuels personal and professional growth. As others often strive to repeat history, Pastor Tan is authoring history, bringing the light of Christ through life-changing Biblical insights.
Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Pastor Britannia Brengettsy accepted Jesus Christ at an early age. She is filled with the Holy Spirit, which she asserts is the foundation of her salvation and calling. She received her license to the ministry in 1996 at the Divine House of Praise Church under the leadership and direction of the founders and her parents Dr. Robert E. Flournoy, Sr. and Elizabeth Diane Flournoy. After faithfully serving the ministry for over 20 years, she was anointed, appointed and ordained as Senior Pastor in November 2006.

Anointed to preach and teach, Pastor Tan serves together with her husband, Pastor Dwane Brengettsy, as a pastoral complimentary team. Pastors’ Dwane and Britannia are the proud parents of one son, Dwane “DJ” Brengettsy, Jr. With a passion for excellence, Pastor Tan received her undergraduate degree in Leadership/Administration from Beulah Heights University in Atlanta, Georgia, receiving the highest honor of Suma Cum Laude and inducted to The Beta Eta Beta Kappa Honor Society for outstanding character and high scholastic achievement. She received a Master’s Degree in Management & Leadership (MAML) at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA., in order to be more and bring more to the Body of Christ.

To add to her many achievements, Pastor Tan is fluent in real estate law, serving as a Real Estate Paralegal and Consultant to various law firms in the Metro Atlanta Area for over twenty-five years, spurring the city’s development as a source of growth and business commerce. As an entrepreneur, she created a real estate title examination company, RTCS Title Services, Inc. in 1998, designed to help smooth the real estate transaction process by providing superior and reliable title examinations for attorneys and real estate title companies, thereby bringing optimization to the real estate industry.

With a divine call and hunger to preach the “Good News of Jesus Christ”, she maintains this belief, “not to speak of herself or any position she may hold: “for people may not believe what you say, but they will believe what you do.” For this reason, “As perilous times continue, the world does not need more Christian actors, but proclaimers of Biblical truth, who will stand against the enemy, identify with real issues, relate to real times, preach real solutions that only the Real God – Christ Jesus can give.”
